Handyman is an innovative standardized set of wireless solutions for field service management. Designed for Windows Mobile and Windows PC operating systems, each installation comes pre-loaded with a set of applications tailored for your industry. Our customers confirm that Handyman brings many powerful benefits, and our standardized modules can be learned by anyone in just a few minutes.
Out-of-the-box functionality includes:
- Job Registration: mobile service workers can create job descriptions, record time taken, materials used, create and archive digital images, manage checklists and messages between their handheld device and their office.
- Smart Checklists: Handyman standardises routines by creating task checklists which can be ticked off. The checklist is signed off with an electronic stylus direct on the handheld’s screen.
- Inventory and Stock Management: stock and parts ordering, archiving of electronic packing slips, place orders with dealers or HQ, manage receipt of goods.
- Timesheets: Archived records of hours worked. Can be sorted by day, by date or by job.
- Synchronisation Module: Designed to work with any GPRS, EDGE or 3G network.
- Customized Display and Backup Routines: Users can modify how a job or time entry is displayed, create secure backups and view their user licence details.
- Document Management: Case workers at the office can send out requested documents to a service worker, call in to an office appointment, issue a wage slip or send a summary of expenses.
- Dictionary / Glossary: Each Handyman comes with an installed dictionary of common words and terms for your industry. These are used to further automate data input for the field worker.
Mobile and Administrator common interface
The mobile interface has been designed for ease of use and obeys the "10 second rule". No operation should take a user longer than 10 seconds to complete.
